War

War, such a little word
Trips lightly from the tongue
Especially describing events far flung

Defining murder and carnage obscene
Where life is a luxury, and death a machine.

But, as long as the Gods demand sacrifices
Man must face a perpetual crisis

Until a trip to Paradise
Is no longer considered the ultimate price.
